Afghan Knowledge Expert Pool
This section has both
immediate and follow-on objectives:
·
ASAP, its
purpose is to post dietary guidelines which should be considered by food
producers who may want to participate, but who first want to determine whether
or not what they might offer is appropriate to circumstances in Afghanistan;
·
Also ASAP, to
establish communication links between food producers who will want their product
information translated and American citizens having Afghan roots who might
serve as translators;
·
A follow-on
objective is to recruit knowledge experts to participate in an on-going public
information process called Counterpoint Corner.
It will be based on a state-of-the-art forum and survey system (Patent
Pending) designed to expand general awareness of expert knowledge and to foster
more nuanced understanding of complex issues by citizen/voters. Additional information about this follow-on
initiative will be posted during early November, 2001
