TESTIMONY TO COURAGE

PROJECT PELION started as a climb for eleven people and ended as a statement for a nation and all people with disabilities.

It was a dream;

Dark steps over unseen spaces,

Movements in pain,

Unheard calls of warning,

Joy on a summit.

Project Pelion is a statement that disabilities are in the mind and incompleteness of  the body only an inconvenience.

Project Pelion is testimony to the courage of all disabled persons who overcome their own mountains of despair by those who climbed one of nature’s majestic peaks.
